Hello
The best product that I have found for high shine finishes (both
polyester and laquer) is "Imperial Hand Glaze", part no. 051131-05990,
manufactured by Automotive Trades division/3M, St. Paul MN. Just follow the
instructions on the bottle. It should be available at any auto paint supply
house that features 3M products. It contains no waxes, oils or silicones and
will put a shine on a shag rug...well, maybe that's streching it a bit far, but
it works well for its intended purpose. You can also mechanicly buff ut with a
lamb's wool buff. It also hides minor scratches in general and fingernail
bounces on fallboards. MSDS also available from 3M.
