Al,
   Bill Stratton wrote that he was changing from the acetone/plastic mixture
to an acetone/sanding sealer mixture. You said that was Wally Brooks method
and you used it too.
   Then you mention using a drop (or so) of acetone/plastic on the strike
surface

RE:  and then for a little sparkle, a drop of
acetone+keytop on the strike point is all that's necessary.

   So you're saying that you use both under some circumstances?
Just curious.
