New Bridge Pins

I'll be watching this thread with interest too.  The other problems
besides the sparks are: the nasty burr left by the grinding; I worry
about heating up the pins and what that is doing to the bridge cap. In
any case, I still use a 3 1/2 grinder and a "flex disk" to start, and
finish with a hand file.  To take care of the sparks, I mask off the
soundboard - which is a hassle I'd rather do without.
