Exactly right.  Moisture content is the bottom line.  Moisture content is a
function of relative humidity.  There are tables that show for a specific
species of wood the moisture content as a function of RH ( and temperature to
a much lesser extent ).  If anyone would like a copy of the specific table I
have, please call me an 1800-438-1524.
