Is truely uniform strike ratio an illusion to the player?

_______________________

Allow me to rephrase that.

Truely uniform touchweight and strike ratios are an illusion to the player
due to the design of the hand and the keyboard layout. Would it be more
logical to not offset the balance pins and then set these ratios from a
line more central to the position of the hand, rather than from two
separate lines- as if naturals were only played by the thumb?

"keep it simple".
