worth transporting to Germany?

One of my clients is considering taking their Knabe upright (60-70 yr
old) to Germany with them. They'll be back in the states in 3 years.
Moving the piano from Southern California (desert, so-called where
humidity changes rapidly from 20-80%) to Germany (where I understand it
is consistently more humid) doesn't strike me as too bad, but I'm
wondering if any of you have seen any problems with pianos coming back
from Germany. They don't know what part of the states they'll return to.

Any warnings bells I should sound for them?

Could anyone remind me how I subscribed, so I could do it again?)
