Let me clarify about putting pianos in autions. I would NEVER put a piano in an auction if, when called upon to tune/repair such a piano I would have to condemn it. At that point I agree that you take it apart or blow it up or whatever, but you take it out of circulation. I also like the idea of the piana-for-Havanna. I'm new to this list. Can someone tell me more about who's doing this and how it works? I'm in Canada. Is anyone up here pursuing this? It seems that it would be a lot easier to manage since contact with Cuba is not against the law here. (People go there on vacation quite frequently, in fact). Thanks.
