Bob, I can't tell for sure by your post if you have already removed the cheek blocks and fallboard, but just in case, I have seen a piano where the keyslip, cheek blocks and fallboard all come out together. Is this a possiblility? I'm not familiar with the Hasting piano at all, but just thought I'd mention that possibility, slim though it may be. Avery Todd University of Houston atodd@uh.edu
