Bob Davis inquired about installation time for a GRK mobileer on verticals.

Prep time in shop -- unpack, drill four 1/4" holes in rear for lag bolts into
lower back of piano, partial assembly of dolly: 1/2 hr.

Installation time at piano -- tilt piano, saw rear corners off pedal board (so
board clears corner plates on dolly, allowing it to sit as low as possible),
remove casters, stand piano back up on 2" blocks, assemble dolly around piano,
remove blocks, and install lag bolts: 1 hr.

The European style consoles with no front legs have no casters, only small metal
pads. Therefore their pedal boards usually sit directly on the carpeting, and
any dolly will raise these pianos about 1 1/2" off the floor rather than the
usual 3/4" or so. Therefore I modify the Mobileer by sawing off the piano
support plates with a metal cutting band saw, then welding on some 2" x 2" angle
iron side rails along each side of the dolly. These extend out to the front of
the dolly, and support the piano about 1/2" above the floor. This adds about 1
1/2 hrs to the installation.
