It will run simultaneously on multiple computers over a network, and a syncronized copy can be run on a portable computer, with simple and safe syncronizing of all the multiple copies when you get home. It will also export data pretty well, so you should be able to dump information fairly easily into your database. Better still, Ecco could be used as your customer database as well, if you want - you can set it up for reminders, with names appearing on a list when they are due for a tuning. The calandar view can be daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly. The amount of data showing on the calandar depends on your screen resolution - a fair number of lines will show in the monthly view at 1024x768, but standard VGA won't show but 2 or 3 truncated lines. If you keep your customer records in Ecco, you just drag their name from the phonebook list onto the time slot on the calandar, and all the info is ready to go. Printout's for the day's appointments can be formatted as you like, and it could even create separate printouts for each of you if you want - the program is amazingly flexible. But, I repeat, hard to learn. No programming, just lots of configurating and learning how to operate things. Greetings to all from Japan, BTW. If anyone has a question for me about the Kawai factories while I'm here, drop me a note. I'll be here through Monday Night. Don Mannino, RPT (in Hamamatsu) 74473.624@compuserve.com
