Yes, it is pathetic that litigation is the only thing that will get people's attention. The piano in question was a Young Chang (U107 I believe) and the wheels did indeed make the piano too high for comfortable playing. One of the large dollies from Pacific Piano Supply would have been a much better choice. The casters the hotel bought and installed themselves were from a catalog that listed them as "piano casters." They thought they were doing the proper thing. The "proper" thing would have been for the store to sell them a different model, and installed a proper dolly. The hotel got hit with a $600,000 judgement. They are appealing. Dave Porritt SMU - Dallas
