Bob, Thank you for the your encouragement. I use metric for soundboard building and setting bearing because it is easier to remember than fractions and it forces me to work no finer than 1/4 mm. Setting bearing and most woodworking operations need no finer, of course measuring piano wire does. John Hartman RPT
