Richard, If it has a lock, check that. Especially a lock that takes a bona-fide key (not one of those generic locks with generic keys). I've had this predicament with a Wurlitzer studio with the lid and cover in one piece (like the hamilton). It was the tumbler of the lock. I gave it a hard whack with the heel of my hand and that stopped it. It hasn't returned. If that doesn't work, try a bigger hammer. heh, heh, heh. Eric Leatha tunrboy@aol.com
