You don't mention if this is a grand or an upright. Big difference! I might recommend you contact my friend Larry Hall of Middletown, CT (203)632-0695.. He has, I think, a Duo-Art upright (not Steinway) for sale cheap, so you could use the parts. He also has a (dissassembled) Steinway Duo-Art grand for $7500, I think.
