Back in June a substance was mentioned for fixing a pedal broken in half called J. B. Weld. Well, I tried it a few days ago on a sustain pedal broken behind the horn (a spinet type piano). The weld looked good and solid, but alas, it did not last the day. It gave way to a few strokes of ye ole heavy foot. So on to a welder to mend the thing. Keith A.
