My hypotheses:

1. Has 1/4 the space necessary for action.

2. Cost 1/4 of concert grand.

3. Weighs 1/4 of concert grand.

4. Has 1/4 volumne/tone of concert grand.

5. Contains 1/4 world's supply of brass.

6. 9' = conzert fluegel
   7' = halb-conzert flugel
   5'6" = 1/4?

7. Holds a tune 1/4 of the time.
