A drill press and a band saw are basic to a shop as is a belt/dick sander, air
compressor and a few air tools.
I have a "Crapsman" drill press, floor standing, and have used it to drill pin
blocks using a slanted board arangement.
My bandsaw of choice is _Inca_, a 10.5" model. I once had a 14" Delta and felt
that that the Inca 340 was a much more refined machine. See if you can find it
on sale somewhere, otherwise, it is expensive.
Best wishes for the holidays!
