Signing one's name

Dear Unsigners,

It was brought to my attention when I first posted a response to Pianotech
that I did not sign my name. Since that time without fail I do just that.

Now I seem to notice a few others are doing the same thing I did a few months
ago, but alas, no comment have I seen indicating their ommission.

It occurs to me that David Letterman of The Late Show identifies who he is
even after it has been announced several times to the audience. And Arsenio
Hall did likewise when his show was in vogue.

Since I am AOL user, I would like to remind AOL users that their name does
not show up in the headings making it impossible to know their identity.
Aside from unintentional forgetting to sign one's name, and/or not knowing
this important AOL fact, I can't imagine why anyone would forgo the act of
courtesy to identify themselves to a posting.
