Please excuse this extremely late announcement. The Arizona State Seminar will be held on January 6-7 1995, or in about a month. Hosted by the Phoenix PTG Chapter and held in the fine ASU School of Music facility, this two day affair is guaranteed to be a truly exciting and educational event. Not to mention the sunshine. Those of you who are already sick of the nasty winter weather will feel renewed and full of inspiration after a few days in the absolutely, unbeatable Arizona climate. Bring your golf clubs and you can enjoy the nation's top collegiate course. Incidently, reduced green fees given to faculty and staff, but you will have to golf with Rick or myself. That's 20 bucks for eighteen holes with cart. What a deal! Now if you are game for a little more excercise join us very early Saturday morning for full court basketball at the student rec center and a quick dip in the pool. The course and instructor lineup: Voicing the Renner Hammer, Rick Baldassin Installing a New Renner Damper Action, Rick Baldassin Key Bushing That Works, Bob Marinelli New Hope for Old Ivories, Steve Brady Aural and Electronic Tuning, Jim Coleman Sr. Hammer Installation, Bob Marinelli Piano Prep for the Dealer, Brent Fischer Private Tutoring: No cost private tutoring will be available in the areas of tuning, voicing, upright and grand regulation. Sessions will be approximaately forty minutes and will be held saturday morning. Cost of attending is $59.00 for both days. Includes afternoon refreshment breaks, Friday evening meal and concert. Hotel reservations can be made at the Howard Johnson Hotel, (602)967-9431. This hotel is in easy walking distance to classes. I am told there are new airfare wars just heating up for the holiday season so call your travel agent now and we will see you in sunny Arizona. ---- Brent Fischer Arizona State University/Tempe BRENT.FISCHER@ASU.EDU
