	Actually, the Klavierbaumeister at Sauter had such a thing. Photo  
attached, unfortunately not with hammers and action. The hammers are  
placed on the wooden frame (designed to go over the checks), and the  
wooden jig to its right has an aluminum bracket to stabilize the  
individual hammer core you are working on. Probably not exactly what  
you have in mind, but a variant.
