[CAUT] Sharps

>Recently a client said she was sure that Hamburg sharps werenarrower on the top than NY Steinways. The measurements I have taken seem toconform that the Hamburg sharps are about .005” narrower. Is this right? Howcould she feel that little difference? 



Greetings, 

   What years are we talking about?  The New York pianos have had a variety of widths through the years. I have had a 1950's model with very narrow sharps, and the Pratt Read keys of the 60's were varied, as well.
