I don't think anyone's mentioned it yet, but unless an extra 
thick pinblock was installed, you shouldn't have drop screw 
clearance problems. The relationship between string height and 
pinblock height won't have changed unless the block thickness 
has. If the hammers are bored to a reasonably "standard" 
length, stack shimming should still be your best bet. As 
noted, sostenuto and back check height complications are still 
looming.

The politics are, as always, another thing.
