What do you mean by "new" piano?
What brand and condition? Rebuilt?
What size tuning pins?
How did the stripped heads happen?
What size tuning pin tip are you using?

Hi Jim,

I'll give that a shot when my tuning pin supplies come in.  Good idea.  I've 
never used it on 1/0 by 2" tuning pins. Have you had any experience using 
one of the oblong heads?
