Mark, Thanks for that, but if you orignally drill the bore at exactly the same as the shank, then why the need to re-drill with a bigger drill bit? why not start off with it? How much "wiggle room" do you like to see? Just curious. We have install at least 20 Masons with the Composite Actions at the factory and 70 percent have the Gel CA and we found that the No.10 drill size is best to give the work time before setup of the glue and the viscosity of the glue takes up the gap.
