It's most likely out of a D, because there's a couple of pianos worth in this jar, and the last two through the shop have been Ds. One was 1965, the other 1953. Where in the scale? Can't say if it's bass or tenor. The jar may know, but it won't say. That's been my experience with jars in general through the years. The usual two contact points? Looks like I need to dig into past jars and saw more agraffes apart. Ron N
