Here's several I use. "Horizontal" to encourage not using the pianos as tables. "Pianos not tables" to encourage hand washing and treating the pianos and other students with respect. "Report problems" is an announcement posted several places in building to encourage reporting of problems. "Name that note" is posted outside practice rooms to teach them how I name notes. I laminate them and give them out as bookmarks too at the end of the year. "Recital contact" is posted near the recital hall. "Piano problems" is a form for students to report problems. Posted outside practice rooms. Use as you wish. Or not. I still have those and others in my database! I tried using some of the "calmer" ones, but the Director wasn't too thrilled and so I don't use them. Just a sheet on the doors to tell me when something breaks, etc. That works really well. Last year, I put on each piano "Please do not put anything on this piano", but the students think this works fine as a coaster for their water, coffee, ....Some days, I fight, and somedays, I shrug my shoulders and shake my head.....
