Remove the lid prop block and there should be a screw under it helping hold the music desk support it place.

Subject: [CAUT] pin block removal

Hi List,

I need to remove a pinblock from a new (7year old)
Yamaha S6 due to water damage. It appears to be glued and possibly
secured to the front strecher bar with dowels. Any one have experience
with Boldue Pinblock Removal Jig? Also, I am having difficulty
removing the right music desk support, the lid prop hinge is screwed to
the end. The left one came off the case easily. Simply removed the
screws and tapped gently. The right one, however is not. I am a bit
hesitant not wanting to damage the otherwise good gloss black polyester
finish. Is there screws that I am missing. I haven't called Yamaha
yet. I did find out that Yamaha does not stock replacement pin
blocks. They suggested Bolduc.

Thanks,
