Hi Mark. I've been experimenting with drilling about 3 mm down into bridge holes with an oversized drill bit, and using thin epoxy to fill the hole. The idea being to leave a collar of epoxy around the pin at the surface area of the bridge. My reasoning is along the lines that epoxy meeting the string will resist string indentation better then wood. Its non responsive to climate changes to begin with so its not going to swell in high humidity seasons and its harder then wood to begin with. Its a pain in the butt to get exactly the right amount and there is a fair bit of cleaning up to make the end result right... but initial results seem to indicate that the result performs well. Cheers RicB
