Not necessarily. I have a set of Weikerts that are fairly soft and one that is much firmer (firmer than the wurzen). I think the current iteration leans toward the firmer side. For instance, I got the impression from previous discussions that Ray's Weikert felt hammers are somewhat harder that the Wurzen felt, which is itself somewhat harder than the Bacon. Is that correct?
