Ohhh  Yeah...I discovered that!

What a pain this piano is turning out to be. Good thing it's just a
universy (no extra expense..just my time) piano and not a customer's!!!!
<G>

Thought everything was pretty good...then discovered the right action
bracket wasn't all the way secured to the frame..actually 3-4 mm's...When
that was discovered and really tightened down the stack again.....,
whadythink..?. the hammers went way up on the high treble !!!!! I KNOW...
START OVER!!. The bass was still right on, though! Oh, what we learn
even after so many years!!!!! NOTICE TO NEWBYS...IT WILL HAPPEN TO
YOU!!!!! (and oldby's! <G>)

BTW...What does DAMHIK mean? I'm so out of touch!!

Thanks!

Paul

     One additional thing to keep in mind with this vintage Baldwin, if
the stack doesn't sit evenly on the keyframe, it will need the feet
shimmed.
otherwise, when tightened down, it will flex the frame enough to lit one
or
more of the glides back off the keybed. (DAMHIK).
