[CAUT] Teflon AND verdigris?

I've been trying some of the quick evap, leaves no residue, safe for
plastic, electronic parts cleaner. It doesn't seem to harm the felt and
dissolves the years of gumminess away. The little red tube that comes with
the can fits perfectly against the side of the flange bushing. It's a
pressure clean and gone so quick, the time factor would minimalize glue
damage??? For felt bushings, I treat with protech after. They sure look
nice and clean and work much smoother. I'm not sure what effect the cleaner
has on the wood. Couldn't be worse than the protech.
