Hi Jim Looks like a great piano.. I like Schimmels..a little bright for my personal taste and would need some serious down voicing for 12x12 practice rooms, but still.....Selling the piano faculty is always a chore (and also my budget!)..the huge music desk and pre-marked dampers are a great thought. We'll see.... I wonder if the music desks would fit on an old Steinway or M&H? Preparing dampers in advance on any piano might be a good time investment. Students put any and all material on the damper heads, strings, etc. Maybe a little less work for us to intercept, eh???? Have any of you folks just gone ahead and marked the damper heads with your markings of choice to keep really yucky stuff from getting on the heads? It seems like a smart way to pre-empt a larger cleaning process. No matter what you tell them, they always mess stuff up!! It bugs me to see anything but clean damper heads, but in practice rooms, maybe this might help...
