Jeannie Grassi is correct.  Eric Schandall told me that one is allowed to mention the factory training, but not to imply or say that one is certified.  The actual notion of a "certified Steinway technician" is what has been a long lived myth.
I did not know that the final class was by invitation only.  I would look into that.
