[CAUT] regimented rust

I don't recall seeing this before, and I thought it kind of weird.

It's (I think) a shore-nuff Steinway block, unless someone
else makes blocks with layer grain angles like the angle cut
in the photo shows, and the pins all have a rust ring at each
glue line.

Maybe it's common and I just haven't noticed. Has anyone else
found this?
