Sounds like some 30 Db foam plugs, inserted deeply, are in order <G>.  
For the performer, and maybe distributed for free to the audience. No  
accounting for taste in music. (My 26 year old son is a heavy metal  
guitarist - most of it is "noise" to me, but to him . . .)
