Yes, I ordered a #1 tip on a spare head for my Bechstein customers  
and put it on a regular 5 degree head I wasn't using.  I think it  
works maybe a little better.  Changing heads is much easier than  
changing tips, so go ahead and order a spare head if you don't  
already have one.
