Hello You never know what you might come across as a piano technician. The Broadway version of the "Producers" is coming to Las Vegas. They are renting out the university facilities for rehearsals which are obviously cheaper then the real stage on the strip. This is not the first time this is happened. During the summer a theatrical group was here for rehearsals for the musical "Hair Spray". I just found out yesterday who this group was which will be staring David Hasselhoff playing the roll of Roger De Bris, the bogus director of "Spring Time for Hitler". From what I understand it will be a long term engagement with the full Broadway cast at the Paris hotel/casino. I was asked to tune three pianos being used for rehearsals. This morning I walked into the university's Black Box Theater. When I turned on the lights the first thing I saw was two German tanks! (props, no the real thing). Hasselhoff's script lay with his name on it along with the rest of the Broadway cast on a table by the door. You never know what interesting adventures a piano technician might have!
