Yeah. That basically means anyone the local Steinway dealership deems worthy... Which supposedly includes at least the first (comprehensive) session at Steinway. Mostly BS, but hey, it got me the gig! (I've had 3 sessions)

I've gotten a few one-time gigs this way, but I've always
wondered what constitutes a "Steinway tech".
