[CAUT] Hardness of termination vs string breakage (was Re: restrung D)

Good question. Then the difference we are looking is a fundamental
difference in the pianos and not the stringing. The two differences I can
think of is the length of the back scale, though I'm not sure how much
difference, and the angle of the tuning pin. On the Baldwin SD6 I tuned
today the pins lean toward the front too much and thr coil wants to drop the
bottom loop down the pin. Can you send a picture of the pins and coils and
let these guys guess some more??
