If your university can dispose of surplus property on eBay, you should try it. We just started that up last year and it works great. The big auditorium here had a worn out M&H from the mid 1970s that had suffered years of neglect, then the movers let it fall on its top one day. After that it needed a new lid as well as a total rebuild. They put it on eBay and got over $14,000 for it! You never can tell what might happen. Just set your reserve high enough so you don't have to give it away. I'd start out at $30,000 at least. Regards, Ken Z.
