Paul, Method 1; Hot iron with wet cloth (steam) then grab one corner and "twist" them off. I've never had a problem. (Are they really ivory?) Method 2; Don Peterson's jig is very accurate for cutting them off. I don't know if the "Genesis" jig is still available but it works well too.
