Kehl, Gregory Sims, Kent Webb, Eric Schandall, Steinway & Sons

Morning session: 
Mr. Roy Kehl will present an illustrated history of the Model łO,˛ tracing
its development and historical significance as it relates to later designs.
Roy is arguably the foremost historian of Steinway & Sons invention,
innovation, and development. Gregory Sims, Engineering Manager for Steinway
& Sons, New York, will discuss the engineering and material requirements
that are involved in producing a model piano for which case parts, rim
press, soundboard press and plate are not already present in the factory.
