Hi Cy,
 
My favorite part of the presentation actually.  I bring a key stick from a keyboard that has been replaced and put it in the action model.  As I explain that a cracked keystick is capable of "going down in the front with nothing happening on the other end of the tetter-totter," I take it out and crack it over my leg.  That really wakes 'em up!

Thanks for sharing this, Alan! Do you have a source for the Serkin video? And can you elaborate about the broken keystick? (Do you actually break it in front of them?!?)
