Jim,

I would be interested in your reactions to the information on the Fujan 
website regarding stiffness of materials (comparing steel, titanium and 
aluminum tube).  I don't doubt that some or much of what we feel is 
flexure in the pin, as well as whatever "slop" there is in the fit of 
the tip to the pin.  Fujan's contention would be that, regardless of 
what the pin is doing, an aluminum tube would be much stiffer than a 
steel shank, and therefore you have more control and a better feel.  I 
believe I am representing the concepts well, but please check out the
