[CAUT] Hot Hide glue woes (??)

I just used this stuff on a set of vertical hammers and was impressed. Later
I had to remove one of them, and with a little heat it came right off. I'mm
impressed. It's also thick, so doesn't run, and it sets up quickly. It's
available also at local hardware stores.

Can you dab some on the damper heads, set the felts into it, make sure they
are aligned, press them down, recheck alignment and set it down and go to
the next one assured that it's not moving?
