I live on a river that crosses the "Fall Line", which means that it has
small rapids over which the river often makes interesting and very soothing
sounds. A number of years ago, a woman stopped by my house to make an audio
tape of the river sounds for her use in personal meditations.

Ten years later, original tape in hand, she moved in as my wife.

It's good to have a river in one's back yard!!
