Hi Avery,
     Jim seems to be doing fine. I had lunch with him in KC last  
summer, and just read a post from him on the ETSC list. Sharp as  
ever, and gets around very well in his wheelchair. Full of energy, at  
least of the psychological variety. I imagine he's unsubscribed from  
pianotech. Don't know if he ever joined the caut list.
