The Curse of Gab (was: [CAUT] I am a genius)

Is it possible in the grand scheme of things that part of the uniqueness of
our work is the opportunity to unobtrusively be available at "moments" no
one else might have with these folks, and we can be "messengers from another
world" in some ways we might not even expect?
