.....then on the other hand, while sticks and stones may not brake your bones, they may certainly brake your progress (as in slow)....or would that be break your progress? (as in halt completely)....I suppose that would depend on the size, velocity and point of impact upon the progressing body...this could be more complex than I thought.....especially when one pauses to consider the meta-physical implications....but then the point would be moot, because the bones would not be moving....leaving the only option....BREAK....& I will take one.
