---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment When I got in this morning, there was a piano tuning/repair form stuck to my door. Students and faculty fill these out to let me know if a piano needs to be tuned, or if a string is broken. This morning's request, however, was one I had never gotten before. It said: " I had a set of 10 harmonicas on top of the keyboard when they fell in between the cover of the keyboard and now rest beneath the strings. I need them out ASAP. This is an emergency, for you see, I need them for a show Wednesday night." I went to practice room he indicated on the form, and sure enough, when I removed the fall board, there were 10 harmonicas laying on the keys. I had never seen that before. I've seen a dead bird, mice and cockroaches, and of course your usual menagerie of pens, pencils, jewelry, etc. But never 10 harmonicas. The harmonica player is picking up the instruments later today.
